By downloading, installing, or using OurPlan ("the App"), you ("you" or "User") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and OurPlan ("we", "us", "our"). If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
OurPlan is a personal finance application designed for couples to collaboratively manage a shared budget. The App provides tools for:

You must be at least 17 years old to use OurPlan, consistent with the App Store age rating. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement.
OurPlan is available only in jurisdictions where the App Store distributes it. We make no representation that the App is appropriate or available in all locations.
OurPlan does not require a traditional account with an email and password. Access is tied to your Apple ID and iCloud account.
One partner ("Partner A") initiates the shared plan and generates an invite link or code. The second partner ("Partner B") joins by opening that link. Once linked, both partners share access to the same budget data via iCloud.
When you link with a partner, both parties gain read and write access to the shared budget data. You should only link with a partner you trust with full access to your shared financial plan.
All billing is handled by Apple. OurPlan does not directly process payment information. Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID in the App Store.
OurPlan offers a free tier with core budgeting features including up to 3 budget buckets, up to 2 goals, unlimited transactions, partner sync, and full Money Meeting functionality. The free tier is available indefinitely with no expiration.
OurPlan Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks additional features. Two options are available:
The annual plan includes a 14-day free trial for new subscribers. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the annual subscription fee will be charged to your Apple ID. You will not be notified separately that the trial is ending.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. To cancel, go to iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → OurPlan. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle; no partial refunds are issued by OurPlan for unused time.
All refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their App Store Terms. OurPlan does not issue independent refunds.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. We will provide reasonable notice of any price changes, and Apple will notify you before your next renewal if the price has changed.

We reserve the right to terminate access for any user who violates these terms.
OurPlan and all its content, features, design, code, and trademarks are owned by us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
Your data — budgets, transactions, goals, and notes — remains yours. We claim no ownership over content you enter into the App.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
Your use of the App and any reliance on its content is at your sole risk.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OURPLAN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP.
In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $50 USD, whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. To also remove your iCloud data, follow the instructions in our Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at our discretion, without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
Upon termination, all licenses granted to you under these Terms immediately cease. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law) will continue to apply.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
If you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, you may have additional rights under local consumer protection laws that cannot be waived by these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will provide notice within the App.
Your continued use of OurPlan after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the App.
